Paul Ranieri is a builder by nature, an inventor by necessity, and an audiophile by passion. An engineer by degree with postgraduate education, including an MBA with international business experience, Paul has spent his life creating what he envisions—whether it’s restoring European race cars, building and piloting homebuilt aircraft, constructing residential homes, or crafting high-end audio systems. Like Varieta tube preamplifier, when he wants something that doesn’t exist, he builds it.

Music has always been central to his life. In a home filled with live jazz, musical theater, and the warm glow of vacuum tubes, Paul created Varieta to give audiophiles something he longed for—a preamplifier that could adapt to different tube types. With each swap, the natural qualities of each unique tube come through, all on a single piece of equipment.  Ranieri Audio Labs is his latest creation, not just to build better audio systems, but to give listeners the power to tailor their own perfect sound. 

With a background in mechanical engineering and technical product development, Laura Ranieri brings a sharp eye for detail and an instinct for product marketing to Ranieri Audio Labs. Throughout her career, she has extended beyond engineering into product and brand marketing, helping scope out and bring groundbreaking technical products to life in global markets across the US, Europe, Canada, and Asia.

A lifelong supporter of both music and innovation, Laura plays a critical role in shaping the vision of Ranieri Audio Labs.
